Choisissez de célébrer le monde visible ou de révéler l’invisible :
Lux rend hommage au scarabée solaire, alors que Noctis célèbre la nuit et les divinités ophidiennes.

Les deux modèles sont des châles triangulaires qui se commencent par une bande centrale en jacquard. Vous viendrez relever les mailles de chaque côté pour tricoter les «ailes» du châle.  Enfin, vous relèverez une dernière fois les mailles en bas du châle pour réaliser la bordure. Le jacquard n’est pas très difficile (peu de croisements de fils), mais le châle demande de savoir relever proprement ses mailles.

Tailles
185 cm d’envergure pour 45 cm de profondeur.

Attention, la taille de votre châle variera grandement en fonction de votre échantillon. Je tricote plutôt serré. Je vous recommande de suivre l’échantillon pour éviter de manquer de laine.

Couleurs & Laines

J’ai utilisé les couleurs du calendrier de l’avent 2025 de Laine & Chaudron, base : 85% Mérino superwash 15% Nylon 400m pour 100g
Ou toute autre laine vous donnant le bon échantillon.

MC : 100 gr
CC : 100 gr OU 4 minis de 20 gr en fade/dégradé.
CA 1 et 2 : 2x20 gr de couleur contrastante (ou non) pour la bande centrale et la dentelle finale.

Echantillon
34 mailles / 32 rangs pour 10 cm.
Pour le jacquard après blocage.
L’échantillon est tricoté à plat.

Aiguilles
Aiguilles circulaires.
Aiguilles 3 mm pour le jersey, 3.5 mm pour le jacquard, ou toute autre taille d’aiguilles vous donnant le bon échantillon.

Both patterns are triangular shawls that begin with a central colorwork band. You will pick up stitches on each side to knit the shawl’s “wings.”. Finally, you will pick up the stitches at the bottom of the shawl one last time to create the border. The colorwork pattern isn’t very difficult (there aren’t many floats to catch), but this shawl requires you to know how to pick up stitches neatly.

Sizes
185 cm wingspan by 45 cm depth.

Please note: The size of your shawl will vary significantly depending on your gauge. I knit fairly tightly. I recommend following the gauge instructions to avoid running out of yarn.

Yarn
I used the colors from Laine & Chaudron’s 2025 Advent Calendar (85% superwash merino and 15% nylon / 400 meters per 100 grams).

MC: 100 g
CC: 100 g OR 4 mini skeins of 20 g each in a solid color or gradient.
CA 1 and 2: 2 x 20 g of contrasting (or matching) colors for the center band and the lace edging.
Or any other sock yarn that gives you the right gauge.

Gauge
For 10cm :
34 stitches / 32 rows

In both colorwork and stockinette stitch. I knitted my gauge swatch flat. The gauge applies to both colorwork and stockinette stitch, so be sure to check both—colorwork stitches are often tighter than stockinette stitches.

Needles

3 mm circular needles for stockinette stitch, 3.5 mm for colorwork, or any other needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
