Imaginez-vous assise contre un arbre, un après-midi d’été finissant, un livre à la main. Mais, perdue dans la contemplation des herbes folles du pré, vous ne l’avez même pas ouvert. C’est ce sentiment, cet instant suspendu, que j’ai voulu évoquer avec le châle “Herboriste”

Le châle “Herboriste” est un grand châle semi-circulaire, qui alterne jacquard simple et bandes de points texturés.

Tailles
Deux tailles disponibles :
Grand Châle : 180cm d’envergure pour 55cm de profondeur (sans les franges)
Moyen Châle : 145cm d’envergure pour 45cm de profondeur (sans les franges)

Couleurs & Laines
J’ai utilisé un kit de Yarneline, base : 80% Mérino superwash 20% Nylon HIGH TWIST

 Version Grande/Moyenne :

MC : 300 (200) gr
CC1 : 20 (20) gr
CC2 : 20 (20) gr
CC3 : 20 (20) gr
CC4 : 20 (20) gr
CC5 : 20 (20) gr

Ou toute autre laine vous donnant le bon échantillon.

Echantillon
16 mailles / 25 rangs pour 10 cm.
Pour le jacquard après blocage.
L’échantillon est tricoté à plat.

Aiguilles
Aiguilles circulaires.
Aiguilles 3.5 mm pour le jersey, 4 mm pour le jacquard, ou toute autre taille d’aiguilles vous donnant le bon échantillon.

Imagine yourself sitting against a tree on a late summer afternoon, a book in your hand. But, lost in contemplation of the wild grasses in the meadow, you haven’t even opened it.
This feeling, this moment suspended in time, this is what I wanted to evoke with the “Herboriste” shawl.

The “Herboriste” shawl is a large, semi-circular shawl that alternates between simple colorwork and bands of textured stitches.

Sizes
The shawl comes in two sizes:
    • Large, which requires 3 skeins of the main color (MC), pp. 7-12.
    • Medium, which requires 2 skeins of the main color (MC), pp. 13-15.

Yarn

I used a Yarneline kit, consisting of 80% superwash merino and 20% high-twist nylon, 400 meters per 100 grams.

Or any other yarn that gives you the correct gauge.

Large/Medium version:

MC : 300 (200) gr
CC1 : 20 (20) gr
CC2 : 20 (20) gr
CC3 : 20 (20) gr
CC4 : 20 (20) gr
CC5 : 20 (20) gr

Gauge

For 10cm :
16 stitches / 25 rows

In both colorwork and stockinette stitch. I knitted my gauge swatch flat. The gauge applies to both colorwork and stockinette stitch, so be sure to check both—colorwork stitches are often tighter than stockinette stitches.

Needles

3.5 mm circular needles for stockinette stitch, 4 mm for colorwork, or any other needle size that gives you the correct gauge.
